Kathleen Susan Parks, 81, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at Life Care Centers of Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 18, 1922, in Batesville, Ark., daughter of George W. and Martha M. Ward Turner.

Parks was a waitress at Al's Midtown for 26 years. She was a member of the VFW, Eagles, St. Mary Cathedral and the Council of Catholic Women.

Survivors include two daughters, Rosemary Osment of Marlton, N.J., and Patty Fields of St. Ann, Mo. and three sisters, Dorothy Babb of Dallas, Texas, Maude Thomas and Betty Haskins, both of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. Monday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Funeral will be at 9 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Scott Sunnenberg officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
