KATHLEEN COOPER

DEXTER, Mo. -- Kathleen Cooper, 92, died Thursday, May 31, 2001, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 17, 1908, in the Rock Point community, daughter of Fred and Nora Goodman Shelden. She and Vader Cooper were married May 7, 1929, at Swinton, Mo. He died July 20, 1987.

Mrs. Cooper was a member of Oak Ridge General Baptist Church near Bloomfield, Mo.

Survivors include a daughter, Norma Jean King of Dexter; 17 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Delano and Dean Cooper; three brothers, Verlin, William and Joseph Shelden; and a sister, Cecil Bollinger.

Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Gary Cooper, a nephew, will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Bloomfield.
