JONESBORO, Ill. -- Katherine L. Womack, 58, of Jonesboro died Saturday, July 11, 1998, at her home.

She was born July 19, 1939, in McClure, daughter of Lester Gilbert and Violet Mary Johnson Smithey. She and Ralph Womack were married on Feb. 15, 1957, in East St. Louis.

She worked as a CNA.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Yavonne Eads of Cobden, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Services in Jonesboro from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Robert Smithey will officiate, with burial in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
