JACKSON -- Katherine Marie Schott, 37, of Jackson died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 30, 1961, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Harold J. and Judith M. McCowen Schott.
Schott was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau and Eastern Illinois University at Charleston.
She had taught music and kindergarten at St. Mary's School, and was currently a secretary-receptionist at Schott Electric Supply. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include a son, Jesse Hency of the home; her parents, a brother, Jeffrey Schott; and paternal grandmother, Anna K. Schott, all of Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau from 5-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Church, with Msgr. Edward Eftink officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
