KATHERINE l. BREDALL

ST. LOUIS -- Katherine L. Bredall, 88, of St. Louis and formerly of Perryville died Monday, May 28, 2001, at St. Luke's Hospital.

She was born May 10, 1913, in Mt. Vernon, Ill., daughter of Lorenzo and Mary Lacey.

She graduated from the Missouri Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in 1933 and was a nurse at Perryville High School for 13 years. She was an elder at First Presbyterian Church in Perryville and a member of the Presbyterian Women's Association as well as various state and local nursing associations. She had been a volunteer with Perry County Memorial Hospital and the Red Cross.

She is survived by two daughters, Julie Rovics of St. Louis and Jeri Cushman of Racine, Wis.; one sister, Mildred Lacey, and one brother, Benton Lacey, both of Mt. Vernon, Ill; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Perryville. Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville is in charge of arrangements.
