Katherine Thelma Koch, 93, of Scott City died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at her home.

She was born Feb. 9, 1920, in Ancell to John and Bertha Ash Miller.

She married Marion Corbert Koch on May 6, 1939, in Ancell. He preceded her in death June 16, 2009.

She was a surgical nurse at Saint Francis Medical Center and Southeast Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Scott City.

She is survived by three sons, Joe (Jeana) Koch of Cape Girardeau, Lanny (Marilyn) Koch of Chaffee, Mo., and Bill (Libby) Koch of Scott City; two daughters, Judy (Kenny) Foeste of Cape Girardeau and Angie (Rob) Sample of Scott City; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a grandchild.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Chapel in Scott City and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Monday at First Baptist Church in Scott City.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Jeremy Sells officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.

Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church in Scott City.
