KELSO, Mo. -- Katherine Lanora Eldridge, 74, of Kelso died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 7, 1939, to Alva Lester and Dorothy Mae Green Sebright.
Katherine was a sales clerk at Wal-Mart in Cape Girardeau and also worked as a custodian at Southeast Missouri State University. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Scott City and St. Mark's Chapter 167 Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Rodney (Beth) Eldridge of Benton, Mo.; and two grandsons, William and Clayton Eldridge.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Billie Goddard and Margaret Hamm.
She loved her grandsons, greeting people at Wal-Mart, and was an avid hunter.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jeremy Sells officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
