Karen York

Funeral for Karen Sue York of Bonne Terre, Mo., will be held at 11 a.m. today at Boyer Funeral Home in Desloge, Mo. Private burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

There is no visitation.

York, 58, died Thursday, June 27, 2002, at her home.

She was born Sept. 27, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Paul F. and Geneva E. McLain Sitze.

Survivors include a daughter, Deborah Branham of Bonne Terre; her mother of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Mary Sitze of Cape Girardeau; and a grandson.

She was preceded in death by her father.
