KAREN MAXWELL

WYATT, Mo. -- Karen Ann Maxwell, 54, of Wyatt died Saturday, July 21, 2001, near Wyatt.

She was born Nov. 6, 1946, in St. Louis, daughter of William Murdaugh and Norma Lee Followell Murdaugh George. She and Charles Maxwell were married Aug. 21, 1981.

Maxwell had lived in Mississippi County the past 14 years and was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Keli Stoner of Sikeston, Mo.; her father of St. Louis; a brother, Kevin Murdaugh of Bloomfield, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Private graveside service will be held at a later date.

McMikle Funeral Home at Charleston, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
