Karen Gwenn Kyle, 58, of De Soto, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, in De Soto. She was born Feb. 2, 1954, in St. Louis, to Willim Seymore and Shirley May Ratliff Kyle Sr. Karen was a CNA for several nursing homes in the Cape Girardeau area, and had worked as bartender at several local establishments. She loved arts and crafts, and was a very good artist, as well. She was of the Baptist belief...

Karen Gwenn Kyle, 58, of De Soto, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, in De Soto.

She was born Feb. 2, 1954, in St. Louis, to Willim Seymore and Shirley May Ratliff Kyle Sr.

Karen was a CNA for several nursing homes in the Cape Girardeau area, and had worked as bartender at several local establishments. She loved arts and crafts, and was a very good artist, as well. She was of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include her companion, Jack Welker; four sons, Adam Francis Kyle, Sam Francis Kyle of Cape Girardeau, Jason Francis Kyle of Granite City, Ill., and Mike Francis; three daughters, Charlotte Nicole Kyle Wattle of De Soto, Brandi Kyle-Dement of Cadet, Mo., and Rachel Welker of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Bill and Brian Kyle of St. Louis, Kevin Curry of Delta; two sisters, Donna Taylor of St. Louis and Sandra Curry; 12 grandchildren, Kelsey, Gabriel, Jesiah, Haven, Kiley, Sidnea, Kady, Jerrikah, Mariah, Brittany, Jayda and Sophia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Loretta Mohorc.

Friends may call from noon to service time Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in McLain Chapel Cemetery at Oriole.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Karen Kyle family in care of Ford and Sons Funeral Home, 1001 N. Mount Auburn Road, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
