Kanchan K. Rohatgi, 52, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 8, 1997, at his home. He was born in Delhi, India, to Krishen Das and Ram Dulari Rohatgi. He and Dr. Reeta Rohatgi were married Jan. 29, 1975, in New Delhi, India. She survives. Rohatgi was a graduate of Jamshedpur College of Engineering in Orissa, India. In 1976 he moved to Chicago, Ill., and worked as a graduate engineer. In 1987 he moved to Cape Girardeau and was employed in the investment business...

Kanchan K. Rohatgi, 52, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 8, 1997, at his home.

He was born in Delhi, India, to Krishen Das and Ram Dulari Rohatgi. He and Dr. Reeta Rohatgi were married Jan. 29, 1975, in New Delhi, India. She survives.

Rohatgi was a graduate of Jamshedpur College of Engineering in Orissa, India. In 1976 he moved to Chicago, Ill., and worked as a graduate engineer. In 1987 he moved to Cape Girardeau and was employed in the investment business.

Survivors include two sons, Gautum Rohatgi of Des Moines Iowa, and Ram Kevin Rohatgi of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Radha Rohatgi of Cape Girardeau; two brothers Ramesh C. Rohatgi of New Delhi, India, and Chunni Lal Rohatgi of Nagda, India; and two sisters, Sarla Chaudhari of Cape Girardeau and Ramola Gupta of Kota, India.

A private funeral service will be held.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
