BENTON, Mo. -- Justin Gregory Mosby, 43, of Benton passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019, at his home.

He was born Jan. 3, 1976, in Cape Girardeau to Greg W. and Lisa A. Wilson Mosby. He and Lyndsey M. Burger were married Aug. 4, 2001, at New Hamburg, Missouri.

Justin was a 1994 graduate of Notre Dame High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University.

He was the owner and operator of Mosby Crop Insurance and previously farmed.

He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Benton.

Justin actively supported his sons' sports teams. He was an active sportsman and loved hunting and fishing. In addition, he was a phenomenal chef.

Survivors include his two sons, Blake and Easton Mosby and wife, Lyndsey Mosby of Benton; his parents, Greg and Lisa Mosby of McClure, Illinois; a sister, Tara (Gregory) Kennard of Cape Girardeau; paternal-grandparents, Richard and Laverne Mosby of Tucson, Arizona; father- and mother-in-law, Danny and Pat Burger of New Hamburg; and two brothers-in-law, Blake (Kim) Burger and Matt (Jaime) Burger, both of New Hamburg.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Denis Catholic Church, with the Revs. Bala Swamy Govindu and Normand Varone concelebrating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Denis School.
