Leo Louis "Junior" Reisenbichler Jr., 80, of Jackson passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 25, 1936, in Pocahontas to Leo G. and Adabelle Hindman Reisenbichler Sr. He and Dianna L. Bock were married Nov. 10, 1979, in Uniontown, Missouri. They had been married 34 years when Dianna passed away March 11, 2014.

Junior attended elementary school at the former Zion Lutheran School in Pocahontas and then attended Jackson High School. He was an honorably discharged U.S. Army veteran, serving from Sept. 19, 1955, to Sept. 6, 1957.

Junior took great pleasure in working hard. He worked several years as a bricklayer, but is better known for his employment with the city of Jackson, where he worked over 30 years as the cemetery sexton, retiring in 2009.

Junior enjoyed socializing at uptown taverns in Jackson; the former Jackson Bait and Tackle, his favorite place to buy scratch-offs; and fish frys with the Perry County gang. Junior and Dianna enjoyed spending quality time together, too, and he was faithful in caring for her and taking her to anyplace she needed to go.

He was a longtime member of Grace Lutheran Church in Uniontown and enjoyed Pastor Paul's visits in recent years.
