JONESBORO, Ill. -- Junior Lee Howard, 59, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, Oct. 22, 1996, at his home.
He was born June 2, 1937, in Johnson County, son of Hosea and Martha Dunn Howard. He and Shirley Hubbard were married Feb. 14, 1957, in Goreville.
Howard had worked at Central Foods in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Luther Howard of Jonesboro, Rex Howard of Vienna, Chester Howard of Cape Girardeau, Charles Howard of Lick Creek; two daughters, Lawanda Snyder of Cape Girardeau, Elizabeth Coffey of Goreville; a sister, Shirley Dunn of Goreville; eight grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Whitnel Funeral Home in Goreville after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. John Boyd and Randy Wheaton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Union County.
