SIKESTON -- Junior P. Cureton, 62, of Sikeston died Thursday, Jan. 28, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 21, 1936, at Bessville, son of Charlie and Iona Skaggs Cureton. He and Grace Graham were married Oct. 25, 1957, at Wardell.
Cureton was a retired oil field worker.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Johnny Cureton of Orlando, Fla., Randy Cureton of state of Alabama, Rick Cureton of Morehouse, Patrick Cureton of Lutesdale, Miss.; and a daughter, Mary Young of Hayti.
Also surviving are six brothers, Melvin Cureton of Bell City, Curtis, Ernest and Milford Cureton of Crowder, Winford Cureton of Sikeston, Wilford Cureton of Matthews; three sisters, Berdine Wilkerson and Kathryne Hamilton of Sikeston, Paulette Bell of Bell City; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Ted Stone officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
