June Dale Richardson, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born Sept. 23, 1931, in Senath, Missouri, to James Earl and Lora Jane Cary Dale. She and Bill Richardson were married March 15, 1958, at Memphis, Tennessee. He preceded her in death April 3, 2014.

She was a graduate of Kennett High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau, where she was involved in various organizations and committees. She was a member of a garden club in Memphis.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa (Kenneth) Frayser of Cape Girardeau and Cara Richardson of Jackson, Tennessee; grandchild, Whitney Quick of Cape Girardeau; brother, James Cary (Barbara) Dale of Houston; and four nieces, Debbie Paylor of Clyde, Texas, Dana Garcia of Houston, Nancy Richardson of Union, South Carolina, and Brenda LaVette of Mount Vernon, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, with the Rev. Tyler Tankersley officiating. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.

Memorial contributions may be given to Southeast Cancer Center or First Baptist Church.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
