Julia Walker

Julia Barbara Walker, 84, of Fort Collins, Colo., died Thursday, Dec. 21, 2006, at her home.

She was born May 23, 1922, in Atlantic City, N.J., daughter of John and Elizabeth Bucci De George. She and Everett "Bud" Walker were married March 6, 1943, in Atlantic City. He died Sept. 15,1998.

Walker was formerly of Scott City. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 6407 in Scott City.

Survivors include two sons, David Walker of Atlanta, Ga., Anthony Walker of Fort Collins; a brother, Laddie De George of Atlantic City; two sisters, Rita Russo of Glen Allen, Va., Theresa De George of Atlantic City; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. Parish prayers will be at 6.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Church, with the Rev. David Coon officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
