SIKESTON -- Julia Elizabeth Jones, 86, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 1997, at Sikeston Health Care.
She was born Feb. 2, 1911, in London, Ark., daughter of John Thomas and Lou Amy Freeman Cochran. She married William Edward Jones, who preceded her in death.
Jones attended Union Hill Church at Zalma.
Survivors include three brothers, Ernest Cochran of Zalma, Jack Cochran of Dexter, Early Cochran of Michigan; three sisters, Rosie Crowden of Eureka, Maggie Dodd of Chaffee, and Ruby Nelson of Sikeston.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Union Hills Cemetery near Zalma.
