Julia Gregory

Julia L. Gregory, 72, of Cape Girardeau passed away at the family home Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010.

She was born in Chaffee, Mo., on July 19, 1937, to the late Aaron and Julia L. Ryker Culbertson. Julia married John C. Gregory on May 12, 1956.

Gregory worked as a medical technician for the Oak Knoll Nursing Center in Ferguson, Mo., before moving to Cape Girardeau. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Chaffee.

Survivors include her husband; a brother, Aaron Culbertson of Whitewater; two sisters, Ella Dowd of Chaffee and Nancy Cook of Sedgewickville, Mo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

There will be a private family service Wednesday, with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating.

Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee is in charge of arrangements.
