DONGOLA, Ill. -- Judy Beggs Thompson, 58, of Dongola died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, at Memorial Hospital at Carbondale.

She was born Oct. 25, 1941, at Dongola, daughter of Melvin Lewis and Ina Belle Corzine Beggs.

She was a member of the Church of Christ, attending the Wetaug congregation.

Survivors include four daughters, Kim Beggs Caylao of New Orleans, Debbie Aaron and Tammy Palmer, both of Oneonta, Ala., and Beverly Williams of Dongola; 10 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister, Della Wyatt of Paducah, Ky.; two brothers, Larry Beggs of Morton, Ohio, and Melvin "Bud" Beggs of Kankakee; and her step-mother, Ruth Campbell of Paducah.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today and on Tuesday until service time at Crain Funeral Home at Dongola.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Ronnie Gulley will officiate, with burial to follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery.
