Judy Merlene Talley, 67, of Jackson passed away Sunday, Sept. 4, 2016, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 17, 1949, in Chicago, daughter of Loy R. and Lorene P. Smith Moore. She and Kenneth Talley were married Dec. 11, 1976, in Cape Girardeau. Judy was a 1968 graduate of Oak Ridge High School in Oak Ridge. From 1997 to 2010, she owned and operated Judy's Antiques and Collectibles on U.S. 61 in Jackson.
Loving survivors include her husband of 39 years, Kenny Talley; four children, Kandy (Jerry) King, Jason (Kym) Welker, Jamie Welker (Tamera Stone) and Barbara Merlene Talley; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Raymond (Reminda) Moore and Ed (Becky) Moore of Oak Ridge.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday in chapel A of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Grant Gillard officiating.
Interment will be in Caney Fork Cemetery near Oak Ridge.
