OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Funeral service for Judy Hester of Olive Branch will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Trinity Assembly of God Church. The Revs. Paul Martin and John Childers will officiate. Burial will be in Wanda Cemetery in South Roxana, with graveside service at 3 p.m.
Friends may call at the church after 5 p.m. today.
Crain Funeral Home in Tamms is in charge of arrangements.
Hester, 51, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton.
She was born Sept. 9, 1946, in Mayfield, Ky., daughter of James Moss and Gladys Mae Ireland Inman. She and the Rev. Carl Hester were married April 22, 1965.
For the past 20 years she assisted her husband in ministry at Grafton Assembly of God Church at Grafton, State Park Assembly of God Church in Collinsville, and Trinity Assembly Church. She was a member of Trinity Church.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Tracey Hill of Grafton, Tammy Maxon of Decatur, Texas; her parents of Roxana; a sister, Sherry Coffelt of Noel, Mo.; maternal grandmother, Bertha Ireland of Roxana; and seven grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
