ADVANCE, Mo. -- Judith Ann Vavak, 68, of Advance passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at her home. She was born July 6, 1952, in St. Louis, the daughter of William and Mary Livingston Robertson. Judy spent her life as a homemaker. She was a member of the Advance Eagles for over 30 years...

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Judith Ann Vavak, 68, of Advance passed away Saturday, Dec. 19, 2020, at her home.

She was born July 6, 1952, in St. Louis, the daughter of William and Mary Livingston Robertson.

Judy spent her life as a homemaker. She was a member of the Advance Eagles for over 30 years.

Judy enjoyed cooking and shopping. She also enjoyed deer hunting and fishing. She loved going to the drive-in movie theater. But more than anything, she loved her children and grandchildren.

Judy and Jimmy Dale Vavak were united in marriage in 1977 in Mississippi, and he survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Tim Garrett of Perkins, Missouri; a daughter, Tracey Wicker of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two stepsons, Steve and Darrell Vavak; three grandchildren, Shyanne Passley of Advance, Taylor Clark of Cape Girardeau and Kiley Green of Bell City, Missouri; four great-grandchildren, Temperance Clark, Miley Clark, Roman Clark and Jude Passley; three brothers, Denny Robertson of Delta, Rick Robertson of St. Louis and Randy Robertson of Benton, Missouri; and two sisters, Peggy Tomiewiez of St. Louis and Cindy Rhodes of Puxico, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Chaffee General Baptist Church in Chaffee, Missouri. The family kindly asks that a mask be worn inside the church.
