Judith Staires

Judith Ann Staires, 66, of Scott City died Thursday, Nov. 6, 2008, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 4, 1941, in Bonne Terre, Mo., daughter of Arvil D. and Ada Dunwoody Link. She married Bill Staires.

Staires had been an assembly line worker at LeeRowan.

Survivors include a son, Todd Staires of Fenton, Mo., and a sister, Bonnie Johnston of Scott City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and a brother.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Germania Cemetery in Bonne Terre.
