MILAN, Ill. -- Judith K. Smith, 78, of Milan died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016, at UnityPoint Health--Trinity Rock Island in Rock Island, Illinois.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory Ltd., 6601 38th Ave. in Moline, Illinois.
Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
Judith was born Oct. 9, 1938, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Rufus and Cora Slinkard Lindsay. She married Willis H. Smith on Oct. 13, 1957, in Hernando, Mississippi.
Judith and her husband, Willis, were the owners and operators of Floral Connection. She especially loved making floral arrangements and bows. More than anything, Judith loved spending time with her grandchildren and following their activities.
Survivors include her husband, Willis Smith; daughters, Shanan (Kevin) Pettifer of East Moline, Illinois, and Christal (Alan) Falk of Hillsdale, Illinois; son, Kyle Smith of Moline; three grandchildren, Devin Pettifer of Austin, Texas, Lindsay Pettifer of East Moline and Nicole Falk of Hillsdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, William Lindsay; and sister, Joyce Clifton.
