ASHLAND, Mo. -- Judith Kay Petermichel passed away at her home Monday, July 29, 2019. She was 73 years old.
Judith was born June 30, 1946, in Grand Chain, Illinois, the daughter of Dave and Catherine Rude Shumaker. She married David David Petermichel on Oct. 31, 1963, in Grand Chain, and he survives.
She and her husband owned and operated a flower shop where she was the designer.
Survivors also include her son, Rodney (Tammy Strong) Petermichel of Tamms, Illinois; two daughters, Amy (Cary Nichols) of Metropolis, Illinois, and Lea Ann (Brent) Mehrhoff of Columbia, Missouri; a brother, Leon (Betty) Shumaker of Grand Chain; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in the death by her father, David Shumaker, and her mother, Catherine and Daddy Lee Sharp.
Services will be held at a later date.
Robinson Funeral Home in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
