PUXICO, Mo. -- Judith McGuire, 72, of Puxico, Missouri, passed away Thursday, Sept. 18, 2014, at the family home in Puxico.
She was born May 19, 1942, in Indianapolis, to the late Andrew and Gertrude Rose Staggs. Judy married Ronald Melvin McGuire in the fall of 1990, and he preceded her in death March 22, 2014.
Survivors include one son, James "Jimmy" (Elizabeth Glover) Howard of Puxico; two daughters, Elizabeth "Diane" (Mike Livingston) Simpson of Advance, Missouri, and Judy "Lynn" (Gabriel) Cruz of Springfield, Missouri; one stepson, Ronald McGuire Jr. of Jackson; two sisters, Georgia Banks of Crestwood, Missouri, and Annie Morrow of Indiana; two nieces; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Angela M. Sanchez Kennedy and Virginia Carter; a brother, James Gullion; and her mother-in-law, Wilma McGuire.
A memorial service will be at a later date at Christian Life Church in Advance, with the Rev. Gavin Page officiating.
