Jude Schultz

Jude Weldon Schultz, 10 days, died Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis.

He was born May 21, 2008, in Cape Girardeau, son of Jared W. and Hannah Lucille Moore Schultz.

Jude came into this world too early and left the same way. In the 10 days he was here he touched everyone who knew him. He was known as the "Wild Man" at Cardinal Glennon Hospital.

Jude fought until the very end. When the fight and the pain finally became too much for him, Jude went peacefully in Daddy's arms into the open arms of Jesus Christ. He is no longer hurting, he is no longer crying, he is at peace. Jude will forever be missed, forever be in our hearts, forever loved.

He is survived by his parents, Jared W. and Hannah L. Schultz of Whitewater; maternal grandparents, Don and Pam Moore of Whitewater; paternal grandparents, Jim and Phyllis Schultz of Tamms, Ill.; maternal great-grandmothers, Helen L. Stump of Harrisburg, Ill., and Rose Moore of Galatia, Ill.; and paternal great-grandparents, Bob and Bernell Abercrombie of Tamms.

He was preceded in death by maternal and paternal grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Green officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery in McClure, Ill., with the Rev. Ernest Brown officiating.
