Funeral for Juanita Woods of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. Ruth Wade will officiate. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery in McClure, Ill.

Friends may call at the chapel from 10 a.m. until service time.

Woods, 82, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2000, at the home of a daughter in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 21, 1918, at Makanda, Ill., daughter of George and Delia Blaylock Copeland. She and Albert Leon Woods were married in 1936 in Anna, Ill. He died in 1966.

Woods was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and was a Sunday School teacher many years.

Survivors include four sons, Marvin Woods of Roosevelt, Ga., Don Woods of Potosi, Mo., Michael Woods of St. Clair, Mo., Kenny Woods of Pampa, Texas; two daughters, Patricia Stinson of Cape Girardeau, Carole Weathers of St. Louis; 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four sisters.
