Juanita Lowes
Juanita Elizabeth Lowes, 91, of Jackson died Thursday Feb. 26, 2009, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.
She was born June 22, 1917, in Chaffee, Mo, daughter of Henry and Mae Ridenour Fowler. She and Albert Lowes were married Oct. 29, 1938, in Benton, Mo. He died Dec. 20, 1990.
Lowes worked at the former Jackson Hosiery Mill and for International Shoe Co. in Jackson. She graduated from Chaffee High School and was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Lowes of Jackson; three granddaughters, Tracy Myer, Jill Allen, Holly Archambault; a sister, Polly King of Decatur, Ill.; and seven great- grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Ron Lowes, and two sisters.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Rice officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to New McKendree United Methodist Church.
