PERRYVILLE -- Juanita R. Layton, 73, of Perryville, died Monday, July 29, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born July 5, 1923, at Brazeau, daughter of John M. and Myrtle O. Weisbrod Martin. Layton had worked at International Shoe Co., was an inspector at Prince Gardner, and had worked at a bakery. PERRYVILLE -- Juanita R. Layton, 73, of Perryville, died Monday, July 29, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 5, 1923, at Brazeau, daughter of John M. and Myrtle O. Weisbrod Martin.

Layton had worked at International Shoe Co., was an inspector at Prince Gardner, and had worked at a bakery. She was a member of Brazeau Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a son, Gary Layton of Perryville; a daughter, Donna Thompson of Wesco; two brothers, John Martin of Perryville, Robert Martin of Frohna; two sisters, Helen Anthony of Poplar Bluff, Imogene Rainwater of Perryville, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a brother.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Thursday, and Friday from 6:30-9 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Brazeau Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Thomas Bass officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
