Juanita Isaacs

MORLEY, Mo. -- Juanita Isaacs, 81, of Morley died Thursday, April 5, 2007, at her home.

She was born Dec. 29, 1925, in Riverside, Calif., daughter of Raymond and Florence Barker Emerson Sr. She and Fearl Isaacs were married Oct. 26, 1942. He died April 3, 1997.

Isaacs worked 13 years at Sports Specialty Shoe Co. in Chaffee, Mo., and then 11 years at Birch Foods in Sikeston, Mo. She was a member of Morley Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Larry Isaacs of Cape Girardeau, Terry Isaacs of Morley, Rick Isaacs of Sikeston; a daughter, Carol Bumgardaner of Perkins, Mo.; two brothers, Kenneth Emerson of Advance, Mo., Ray Gene Emerson of Morley; two sisters, Debbie Scaggs of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Becky Rodgers of Morley; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran, Mo., from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Morley Baptist Church, with the Rev. Rodney Davis officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
