Juanita Bohnert

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Juanita Bohnert, 83, of Perryville died Thursday, March 18, 2004, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Nov. 1, 1920, in Perry County, daughter of Frank B. and Ada Pearl Dunn Martin. She and Isadore Bohnert were married Dec. 4, 1938, at St. Louis.

Bohnert worked at Perry County Memorial Hospital and also worked in the poultry and egg business for 44 years with her husband. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Larry Bohnert of St. Louis and Terry Bohnert of Omaha, Neb.; a daughter, Susan Winkler of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Earl Martin of Perryville; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake will be at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue from 6:30 to 8:50 a.m. Monday; the rosary will be at 8:15 a.m.

Funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
