KARNAK, Ill. -- Joyce Shepherd House of Ocala, Fla., formerly of Cairo and Karnak, died Sunday, May 24, 1998, at Estelle's Hospice House in Marion County, Fla. She was 67.

She was born Aug. 18, 1930, in Cairo and worked until retirement as a beautician.

She is survived by her husband, Robert House of Ocala; a sister, Shirley Keith of Cairo; and three brothers, Earl Shepherd of Cairo, Edward Shepherd of Tulsa, Okla., and John Shepherd of Barlow, Ky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter and two infants.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak. Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Bill Bishop and Joey Dunning officiating. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Cypress.
