Joyce Malawey

Joyce D. Malawey, 64, of Friedheim died Friday, April 28, 2006, at her home.

She was born April 11, 1942, at St. Louis, daughter of William Earl and Magnolia Lovell Ritz. She and Charles E. Malawey were married Nov. 26, 1960, at Ferguson, Mo.

Malawey was a member of St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, the Ladies Sodality and the Rosary Army.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Douglas Malawey of Bloomsdale, Mo., Gregory Malawey of Potosi, Mo., John Moran; four daughters, Sandra Ramsey of Jefferson County, Mo., Julia Reando of Wildwood, Mo., Diann Malawey of South County, Mo., Tammy Moran; and her father, William Earl Ritz of Creve Coeur, Mo.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville; Parish prayers at 7 p.m. Visitation continues from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, Mo., with the Rev. Anthony Dattilo officiating. Interment will be at St. Maurus Cemetery, Biehle, Mo
