CHARLESTON -- Joyce Ann Howlett, 68, of Charleston, died Tuesday, May 9, 2000, at Sikeston Convalescent Center.
She was born on April 27, 1932, in Martin, Tenn., daughter of John E. and Cornelia Childers McMinn.
She married Roy Howlett in May 1974. He died Nov. 30, 1976.
She had lived in Charleston since 1995, having moved from East Prairie. She was a retired floor supervisor from Prairie Manufacturing in East Prairie. She was a member of First Christian Church in East Prairie.
Survivors include a son, Winfred Brown of Gore, Okla.; a daughter, Teresa McCutchen of Sikeston; a brother, John F. McMinn Jr. of Charleston; a sister, Norma Jean Barnes of East Prairie; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Bill Summers officiating.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
