Joyce Holekamp

JACKSON, Mo. -- Joyce Ann Holekamp, 53, of Jackson died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 30, 1948, in Shawnee, Okla., daughter of Homer L. and Lucille Tison Nelson. She married Richard F. Holekamp.

Holekamp was a caseworker with Missouri Division of Family Services.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Steven Holekamp of Guthrie, Okla.; a daughter, Tammy Holekamp of Oklahoma City, Okla.; her mother, Lucille Nelson of McLoud, Okla.; and a brother, John Nelson of McLoud.

She was preceded in death by her father.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Nov. 17 at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Naomi Carter will officiate.

Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until service time.
