EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Joyce Jewel Brown, 61, of East Prairie died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2004, at East Prairie Nursing Center.
He was born June 19, 1942, at Hayti, Mo., daughter of Frank and Josie Holt Pride.
Brown lived in Ste. Genevieve, Mo., 10 years, moving back to East Prairie a year ago. She was a member of Ste. Genevieve Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, David Gaskins of East Prairie, William Armer of Sikeston, Mo.; three daughters, Barbara Taylor of Bentonville, Ark., JoAnn Seals and Wanda Pugh of East Prairie; three brothers, Frankie Pride of Ste. Genevieve, Charles and William Pride of Steele, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter and a brother.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 2 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Gibson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston, Mo.
