ANNA, Ill. -- Joyce Beasley Bradshaw, 81, of Anna passed away at 6:20 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Joyce was born Nov. 23, 1930, at McClure, Ill., daughter of the late Thomas R. Beasley and Elizabeth Burden Beasley.
Joyce was a member of the Jonesboro First Baptist Church since Jan. 18, 1981. She has been honored to work with the senior citizen's group LLL. She enjoyed contributing to mission projects. She has been a part of the GROW (G team). For 12 years she taught the Deborah class at JFBC, enabling her the opportunity to study and learn more about the Lord and giving her lifelong friends that will never be forgotten. Joyce was a retired grocery store cashier.
Survivors include a son, Russell Bradshaw of Vienna, Ill.; two daughters, Phylliss Hennessee of Leesville, La., and Terry Montgomery of Carbondale, Ill.; three sisters-in-law, Mildred, Chris and Shirley Beasley, all of Tamms, Ill.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at Jones Funeral Home in Tamms.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Jonesboro First Baptist Church in Anna-Jonesboro, Ill., with the Revs. Joe Aldridge and Todd Plunkett officiating. Interment will be in the Lindsey Cemetery in rural McClure, Ill.
