JOSPEH GOODWIN

Joseph Dwayne Goodwin, 21, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, June 30, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Sept. 23, 1979, in Quincy, Ill., son of Dennis Goodwin and Carol Foxall Goodwin. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Cape Girardeau and had been a student at Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo.

Survivors include his mother, Carol Goodwin of Cape Girardeau, and father and stepmother, Dennis and Karen Goodwin of Quincy, Ill.; maternal grandmother, Lois Foxall of Macomb, Ill.; paternal grandfather, Frank Goodwin of Pittsfield, Ill.; two brothers, Troy Roberts of Colchester, Ill., and J.D. Goodwin of Marble Hill, Mo.; one stepbrother, Rob Gallagher of Chicago, Ill.; two sisters, Nikki Ratledge of Scott City, Mo., and Teresa Hollis of Monmouth, Ill.; and one stepsister, Leslie Gallagher of Iowa City, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God, with the Rev. Gary Brothers officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
