MATTHEWS -- Josie Olive Ball, 97, formerly of Matthews, died Thursday, June 13, 1991, at Bluff Manor Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff.
She was born July 29, 1893, in Golconda, Ill., daughter of Joshua and Julia Moore Fulkerson.
On Nov. 19, 1911, she married Forest Bedford Moore in Farenberg. He died Nov. 17, 1971.
She was a housewife and member of the Church of Nazarene in Matthews.
Survivors are three sons, Cleon Ball, Orange, Texas; Virgil Ball, Ventura, Calif.; and Fred Ball, Yuba City, Calif; two daughters, Millie Williamson, Poplar Bluff; and Naomi Cecil, Advance; one sister, Lillian Miller, Ventura; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by one son, one daughter, four brothers, two sisters and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call today after 2 p.m. at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel.
Service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the Church of Nazarene. The Rev. Don Heitman will officiate. Burial will be in the Matthews Cemetery.
