JOSIE M. FRAZIER

Josie M. Frazier, 71, of 327 S. Lorimier, died unexpectedly at her home Saturday May 2, 1992. She was a lifelong resident of Delta and Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 20, 1921 in Delta, the daughter of Homer Surface and Cora Bass Surface.

On Oct. 22, 1945 she married James E. Frazier in Jackson, who died on Nov. 8, 1990. Mrs. Frazier was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Pennington of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Leslie L. Surface of Delta and Rev. Alvie Surface of Rockview; two sisters, Betty Pearman of Cape Girardeau and Rachel Schaerf of Delta; and two grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers and a son, James R. Frazier.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. Graveside services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Kenyon Cemetery at Delta. Her brother, Rev. Alvie Surface, will officiate.
