SCOTT CITY -- Graveside service for Josephine P. Taylor of Jerseyville, Ill., will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lightner Cemetery. The Rev. Pat Wissman will officiate.

Elias-Smith Funeral Home in Godfrey, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.

Taylor, 82, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 1996, at Jerseyville Manor.

She was born Oct. 2, 1914, in Missouri, daughter of William and Anna Georgia Dohogne. She and Jesse E. Taylor were married May 11, 1932, at Scott City. He died Sept. 25, 1990.

Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Koester of Florissant; three sons, Mike Taylor of Brighton, Ill., Terry Taylor of Jerseyville, Tim Taylor of Godfrey; four sisters, Margaret Baltzell of Moline, Ill., Bertha Wells of Scott City, Shirley Baker of Cahokia, Ill., Mary Ann Eifert of Jackson; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.
