Joseph T. Schwab, 67, of Cape Girardeau passed away Oct. 6, 2016, at his home.

He was born July 5, 1949, in Cape Girardeau to Dwight and Juanita McNeely Schwab.

Joseph was a disabled veteran, having served in the Marine Corps.

He was a member of Cape Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa (Steve) Ruppel of Chicago; two brothers, Guy (Marcia) Schwab of Cape Girardeau and Paul Schwab of Miami Beach, Florida; and two nieces, Amy Schwab and Veronica Sander.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private funeral service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Burial will be at Fairmont Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
