SIKESTON -- Joseph Russell Fuqua, 25, of Sikeston, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 1994, in Phoenix, Ariz.

He was born Nov. 27, 1968, in Atlanta, Ga., son of Vernon and Katherine Fuqua.

Fuqua was a roofer.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Katherine "Kay" and Bill Gossett of Sikeston; his father of St. Louis; two brothers, Michael Fuqua of Buffalo, William Gossett of Sikeston; three sisters, Jewel Waeelis of Bertrand, Dawn Wyman of Halfway, Sandra Ammerman of Sikeston; paternal grandmother, Eleanor Fuqua of St. Louis; maternal grandparents, John Wanner and Jewel Wanner of University City.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Larry Stevenson will officiate, with burial in Blodgett Cemetery at Blodgett.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
