PATTON, Mo. -- Joseph Floyd Miller, 62, of Patton died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2001, at his home.
He was born Nov. 12, 1938, in Forrest Hill, Tenn., son of Floyd and Arvelle Anderson Miller. He and Ruth Ann Thompson were married Feb. 1, 1959.
Miller was a truck driver for Gilster-Mary Lee in Perryville, Mo. He was a member of Little Whitewater Baptist Church.
He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Andy Miller of Chester, Ill., Jerry Miller of Burfordville, Mo., Gregory Miller of Red Banks, Miss., Donald Miller of Kaiser, Mo.; two brothers, Robert Miller of Holly Springs, Miss., David Miller of Ripley, Tenn.; a sister, Shirley Williams of Memphis, Tenn.; nine grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4-8 p.m. today, and Saturday after 11 a.m. at Little Whitewater Baptist Church.
Funeral will be at noon at the church, with the Revs. Randy Miller and David Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Thompson Cemetery near Gordonville, Mo.
