PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Joseph C. Kiefer, 56, of Perryville died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at his home. He was born Oct. 16, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, son of Wilbert and Ruby Marie Sadler Kiefer. Kiefer had worked at McDonnell Douglas. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Joseph C. Kiefer, 56, of Perryville died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at his home.

He was born Oct. 16, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, son of Wilbert and Ruby Marie Sadler Kiefer.

Kiefer had worked at McDonnell Douglas. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Cyndi Lyons of St. Louis; a son, Joe Kiefer Jr. of Alton, Ill.; his mother of Perryville; a sister, Lisa McClure of Sedgewickville, Mo.; two brothers, Jerry Kiefer of St. Louis, Kenneth "Kenny" Kiefer of Perryville; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister.

A Memorial Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent Church, with the Rev. Joseph Williams officiating.

Friends may call at the church Saturday after 9 a.m.

Miller Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
