Joseph Michael Kerber, 40, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2000, near his home.
He was born June 25, 1960, in Elgin, Ill., son of Joseph W. and Coy O. Kerber.
Kerber attended First Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Megan Kerber of Chaffee, Mo.; his father and stepmother, Joseph and Linda Kerber of Elgin; his mother and stepfather, Coy and Amos J. Coonts of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Danny and Jim Kerber of Cape Girardeau, Dennis Kerber of Lima, Ohio; a sister, Debbie Kerber-Rehr of Chesterfield, Mo.; and maternal grandmother, Hettie Phillips of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel after 8:30 a.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Charles J. Lance officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery at Morley, Mo.
