Joseph Harold (Joey) McDaniel, 32, 1521 Bessie, died Tuesday, July 5, 1994, at his home. He was born Aug. 16, 1961, in Pasadena, Texas, son of Vicki Skelly. Joseph Harold (Joey) McDaniel, 32, 1521 Bessie, died Tuesday, July 5, 1994, at his home.

He was born Aug. 16, 1961, in Pasadena, Texas, son of Vicki Skelly.

McDaniel was a graduate of Stage One The Hair School. He was a hairstylist at Eugene's Hair Salon, Joey's Hair Care, and J.C. Penney Styling Salon.

He was a member of American Legion and St. Augustine Catholic Church in Houston, Texas.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Vicki and Bobby Joe Johnson of Dunlap, Tenn.; two brothers, Andy Borup of Dunlap, Edward Eakins of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Dana Borup Black of Valdosta, Ga., Kathy Borup Waters of Dunlap, and maternal grandparents, George and Gerri Skelly of Columbus, Texas.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 6-8 p.m. today, and 6-7 p.m. Friday. Parish prayers will be at 7 tonight.

Memorial service will be held at the chapel at 7 p.m. Friday, with the Rev. Richard Lause officiating.
