PERRYVILLE -- Joseph H. "Joe" Buchheit, 75, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 1993, at Perry County Nursing Home here.
He was born March 19, 1918, in Cape Girardeau County, son of Edward C. and Mary C. Schabbing Buchheit. He and Rosemary Endres were married Nov. 16, 1946, at Perryville.
Buchheit was retired from International Shoe Co. He was a member of American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Knights of Columbus. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Sharon Dippold of Perryville; a sister, Helen Mecker of Perryville, and two grandsons.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today. A parish wake and KC service will be held at 7, with an American Legion service at 7:30.
